Joe is an Associate in Palmer & Barr’s Willow Grove office, and joins the firm after a 20-year career as an In-House Defense Attorney for a major national Property Casualty insurer where he practiced in the Civil Litigation Unit as a multi-line Trial Attorney handling Automobile, Premises Liability, and General Liability matters, as well as First Party Medical Claims. He also served on National Home Office Committees, and provided many Litigation Training Seminars to the Insurance Company’s Claims Adjustors and fellow Staff Attorneys over many years. He is well versed in all aspects of trial work and arbitrations, having successfully tried and arbitrated hundreds of cases in all of the Courts of the 5 County area surrounding Philadelphia and beyond, as his prior practice covered 13 Pennsylvania Counties. He is also experienced in the handling of underinsured and uninsured motorist claims, as well as mediations and binding arbitrations. Joe started his legal career as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas before moving into his prior position.

Joe is admitted to Practice in Pennsylvania State Courts, as well as in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania’s Federal Court. He is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and the Notre Dame Law School. He focuses his practice on Pennsylvania Civil Litigation.

In his free time, Joe volunteers as a Board Member for his local CYO organization, is a Lector at his Church, and coaches High School Softball
